1. Overview

Program name: Home Purchase Ready

Eligible recipients: participating mortgage loan officers and authorized business users of the Home Purchase Ready platform.

Home Purchase Ready operates an SMS notification program for participating mortgage professionals who have expressly opted in to receive text messages. Messages may include new home buyer enquiry notifications, assignment updates, status updates, and operational account information.

This SMS program is not used to send marketing or promotional messages to consumers. Consumers who complete our mortgage pre-approval assessment do not receive SMS messages as part of this program.

We only send SMS notifications to a loan officer after they have expressly opted in to receive them, typically during registration or account setup on our platform. By opting in, a loan officer agrees to receive the types of messages described below at the mobile number they provide.

Consent to receive SMS messages is not required to use our platform in general, and is not a condition of any purchase. A loan officer may decline SMS notifications and still participate in our mortgage professional network through other means, such as email.

3. Types of messages

Messages sent through this program may include:

  • New home buyer enquiry notifications
  • Enquiry assignment updates
  • Account notifications
  • Service announcements
  • Operational messages

These messages are transactional and operational in nature — they relate directly to a loan officer's account and their assigned home buyer enquiries. They are not promotional marketing messages, and we do not use this program to advertise products or services.

4. Message frequency

Message frequency varies and depends on enquiry activity. A loan officer may receive several messages in a busy week, or none at all if no new enquiries are assigned during that period. We do not send messages on a fixed schedule.

5. Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply, depending on the recipient's mobile carrier and plan. Home Purchase Ready is not responsible for any charges applied by a recipient's mobile carrier.

6. Opt out

A recipient may opt out of SMS notifications at any time by replying STOP to any message they receive from us. Once a recipient opts out, we will stop sending SMS notifications to that mobile number, though a final confirmation message may be sent to acknowledge the opt-out.

A loan officer who opts out of SMS notifications will continue to receive new home buyer enquiry notifications and account notifications through other available channels, such as email.

7. Supported keywords

This program recognizes the following keywords, sent in reply to any message:

  • STOP — unsubscribe from SMS messages
  • HELP — receive assistance and contact information

Any information collected through this SMS program — including mobile phone numbers and message activity — is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Mobile opt-in information is not shared with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes. This SMS program is also subject to our Terms of Service.

10. Eligibility

This SMS program is intended only for registered loan officers and other authorized business users of the Home Purchase Ready platform. It is not intended for use by consumers, and consumers do not need to opt in to, or interact with, this program to use our website or complete our mortgage pre-approval assessment.

11. Changes

We may update these SMS Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our program or applicable requirements. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated, and we encourage recipients to review this page periodically.
